Be Resolute

"Keep your eyes open, hold tight to your convictions, give it all you’ve got, be resolute, and love without stopping."
 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

How are your New Year's Resolutions going? Yeah, me too. It about this time of year that we have already forgotten we ever even made any resolutions or that they're on their way out. So here's some encouragement...

When it comes to our faith, we can never forget it or let it fade away. To be resolute means to be determined, to have a set purpose, to be uncompromising, unshakable, courageous, relentless & strong! This is the kind of faith we need in a world that is constantly trying to get us to compromise & settle for less than God's best.

Would you join me in making a new resolution by committing each morning to: "keep my eyes open to what God is trying to show me; hold tight to my convictions of what I know is true; give it all I've got each day for His Kingdom; be resolute in doing what He has called me to do & love without stopping to consider the cost."

Be Resolute, Be Courageous & Unshakable!

In a world that too often tells us who we're not, we are here to encourage & inspire you to learn & know who you are in Jesus Christ!
This year God is leading us to Grow Deeper in His Word so we each can Grow Stronger in our daily life.
This is pictured in a tree where we're reminded:
  • We each have been given a choice (Genesis 2:9)
  • God gives us what we need to live life well (Jeremiah 17:8)
The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful & that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life & the tree of the knowledge of good & evil. Genesis 2:9
They will be like trees growing beside a stream— trees with roots that reach down to the water, and with leaves that are always green. They bear fruit every year and are never worried by a lack of rain. Jeremiah 17:8
No matter where you are in life, we hope you will consider setting some roots down here at St. Paul,      so together we can Grow Stronger & Deeper in our understanding of Who God is & who we are in Him.
