Women of St Paul Lutheran are organized to serve in a number of ways, both locally and beyond. Some of the ministries include those listed below.
FOOD FOR THE BEREAVED
The Women of St Paul are organized in teams to provide food for funerals as a gift to families.
NURSING HOME BIRTHDAYS
Once a month the women of St Paul host a birthday party at the Community Care Nursing Home.
The Women of St. Paul have two groups of quilters. The Peacemakers meet on the first & third Monday of the month to provide quilts for Lutheran World Relief and for Mexico/USA border missions. Hand quilting occurs every Tuesday providing quilts for mission projects.
Local mission support include assistance to the local women's shelter. Food and supplies are collected and members offer volunteer service to the county Food Pantry.
Regional mission support includes financial and other assistance to the Borders Missions in the Laredo area & Nicaragua.
International mission involvement includes support of relief and development work through Lutheran World Relief. This includes quilts, supplies for children and funds. Donations are also collected and sent to the LCMC Nicaraguan Congregation.
